Important Notice To AFC Substack Paid Subscribers

We have been having major issues with STRIPE, Substack's payment provider.

ACT! For Canada has been with Substack for a few weeks now and we have experienced major issues with Substack’s payment provider, STRIPE.

After almost endless discussions and document submissions, STRIPE will not recognize ACT! For Canada as a legal Canadian Non-Profit Organization and hence we can not receive; and have not received; any monies from PAID SUBSCRIPTIONS thus far.

We apologize to those individuals who have made paid subscriptions with ACT! For Canada. We have removed STRIPE from our Substack and we are now in the process of refunding paid subscriptions to those who have donated. Please bear with us as we resolve this situation. If for some reason, you do not receive your refund in the near future, please let us know at this email address: info@actforcanada.ca

Since we have turned off Substack payments, all Substack articles may now be viewed for free.
